LimeAcademy is not a course like any other. It follows the self-paced learning approach, but there is a recommended set of milestones we’ve set to help you get a better sense of how your progress should look throughout your training journey.
There is no homework in the traditional sense. Still, there is a project that you will need to develop within the training season timeframe. You have access to all the knowledge sources required to handle your project assignment successfully from day one. The training content consists mainly of reading materials and less visual content like videos and tutorials. Alongside that, you will have a dedicated personal mentor who will be by your side. They will be answering your questions, from general topics such as “OK, where do I start?” to drill-down technical queries about your project.
The communication is async, which means that you can ask your questions anytime in the dedicated channel, and a mentor will get back to you as soon as possible.
Plan to invest at least 10 hours a week. This way, you will ensure that you will have enough time to read the necessary materials and be on top of your project. Learn more about the LimeAcademy Training journey here.
Learn practical skills
We believe that learning programs are most effective when they focus on practical skills that can immediately impact and create career opportunities for professionals, especially if they are transitioning to a new field. That’s why LimeAcademy’s course on blockchain development focuses on essential skills that will help you hit the ground running in your new role as a blockchain dev. The program’s primary focus is Ethereum, which is by far the leading platform for blockchain development.
The course comprises eight modules – Blockchain 101, Web3 and Smart Contracts, Cryptography, Common Architectures, Scalability and Interoperability, Protocols, Building a Blockchain Network and practical projects – covering key areas of blockchain development. Structured in this way, the programme will help you improve your general understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies and specialize in certain areas.
